100 Years of Flavor: Celebrating a Century of Hellmann’s with Bold Design and Big Moments
To celebrate Hellmann’s 100th anniversary, we created a global brand campaign that honored the legacy of the iconic mayonnaise while giving it a fresh, celebratory twist. As a core creative on the team, I was responsible for working on the special edition anniversary branding, which appeared across Hellmann’s global packaging, reinforcing the campaign’s message of heritage and quality on every shelf. The campaign, titled “Bringing the Best Together,” also included a high-profile branded content partnership with celebrity chef Mario Batali and ABC’s The Chew. Batali shared updated takes on classic Hellmann’s recipes through a recipe book, video series, and digital content—extending the brand’s reach across platforms like Facebook and YouTube. I also worked on the in-store branding for Hellmann’s in all Walmart locations nationwide, crafting visuals that celebrated the milestone and drove shopper engagement at retail. In addition, I contributed to national print ads and supported a major experiential activation featuring the world’s largest picnic table, designed to bring people together in the spirit of the brand. This campaign not only honored a century of tradition but successfully reintroduced Hellmann’s to a new generation of consumers through storytelling, design, and cross-channel experiences.
