Jurassic Doritos: A Bold Brand Adventure Millions of Years in the Making
For the global release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Doritos went big—dinosaur big. As Senior Art Director, I led the creative execution for all limited-edition packaging and in-store point-of-sale assets, designing bold, collectible visuals that brought the excitement of the film directly to retail environments. Our packaging and POS system served as the visual foundation for a 360° campaign that included an interactive "Track & Rescue" digital game, themed sweepstakes, and a full creative ecosystem across web, social, and influencer channels. At the heart of the campaign was the now-legendary Jurassic Dorito—a 12-inch chip sent to influencers and superfans inside a custom fossil-style crate. The chip drop was teased with a dramatic video spot starring BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu), blending humor, lore, and pure Doritos boldness to generate massive buzz. My work helped tie all physical touchpoints together—from shelf to screen—amplifying fandom and creating a collectible retail moment that lived up to the blockbuster franchise and the Doritos “For the Bold” mantra.
